I am a passionate networker – I love putting people and ideas and information together. I have built Women Travel New Zealand and have just launched a fabulous new website Women Travel the World as a way of connecting women travellers with women run tourism ventures around the world. This Women Travel the World Blog is another way of connecting with women travellers and their stories, and womens travel ventures around the world
Rosemary lives in Waipu, a small village in Northland New Zealand where she and her partner set up Waihoihoi Lodge – a country retreat for women. The Lodge is presently closed, but it is hoped that it will re-open in a year or so.
Rosemary is also very involved in the local community including organising the Winter@Waipu Community Festival as well as other tourism related projects in Northland.
in 2009 Rosemary flew off for four months travel in USA and Europe, joining some tours on the Women Travel the World website, visiting women run accommodation and generally having a great time. Read about the journey here.
