Known world-wide as the “City of Love,” Paris welcomes the single lady traveler with everything a cosmopolitan city has to offer –and much more. Steeped in history, drenched in ambiance and dripping with delicious food and drink, the attractions of Paris are too numerous to mention. But it is worth noting that the Parisian admiration of the female of the species makes it an ideal location for a single woman who enjoys being swept offer feet by flattery.

One of the favorite destinations for single women visiting Paris are the many art museums, especially the Louvre, where you can wander for an hours alone and never feel self-conscious, although you may find yourself the center of attention.

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

No one knows how to throw a party like the Brazilians, and single women journeying to Rio De Janeiro — especially during Carnival — will find plenty of vibrant events to dive into and join the crowd to become part of the action. It is a great place to “show some skin” and dance in the streets with great abandon. Of course, it is a favorite destination for single men as well, so it is easy to put two and two together in Rio!

Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii

whales that come during the winter months to have their babies in the warm tropical waters. The town itself has a thriving city center full of shops, restaurants and a year-round artist market under the big banyan tree in the middle of town. Excursions to nearby islands and the many wonders of Maui make this destination a wonderful spot for the single lady explorers who enjoys warm beaches, delicious dining, hula dancers and art shows. Every Friday night is the “Art Night” where the streets fill with art lovers who roam the many galleries, some of which feature their star artists painting original pieces right before your eyes.

Cape Town, South Africa

This vibrant city by the beautiful blue sea is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Single ladies on vacation can join tours to go on a photo safari, a wine tasting tour or journey to the historic islands. If you’re really feeling bold, you can sign up to learn an exotic sport like dune surfing or shark cage diving. The nightlife in Cape Town is bustling, and during the day the sandy crescent beach attracts tourist from all over the world to bask in the sunshine.

These cities are amazing and are worth visiting. You should also add Mexico to the list. Last year my mother came to visit me to Mexico. She found great Mexico packages and discovered a beatiful country. She even went to vist some other cities on her own! She travelled and found some pretty nice hotels in Riviera Maya I’m very proud of her, travelling abroad and discovering the world on her own.
